Technology is the most impactful change agent in our lives. Across all the fields that have been revolutionized by technology, marketing is among the fields that top the list. The pace at which technology and data continue to help us become better marketers is truly phenomenal.

Over the past few years, technology and data revolutions have transformed modern marketing. As a result, Marketing Operations – Analytics and Automation function has evolved to become the bedrock of every marketing organization. This evolution has also changed the definition of success for marketers. Today, the success of marketing is increasingly being defined by its ability to create contextual engagement experience, drive pipeline and demonstrate returns on the investments. As is the case with any change, this revolution in marketing has created a need for marketing operations professionals with a unique set of skills that are at the intersection of marketing, technology and data.

With 10+ years of experience in marketing operations, we have witnessed first hand the struggle marketing organizations and agencies face when it comes to leveraging data and technology for delivering impactful results. To further complicate things, 3 key trends across marketing continue to make marketing operations and analytics, a top priority for marketing leaders:

  1. Ever growing investments in marketing tech stack and data infrastructure.
  2. Need for marketing insights to drive campaign performance optimization.

We come across marketing organizations and traditional marketing agencies with professionals who are either really good marketers or who are technology pros. They are the experts in their respective domains but when it comes to marketing operations, these siloed skills are not impactful no matter how good they are. It is this “unique” blend of marketing, technology, and data with analytics first mindset that truly defines marketing operations and, this is where we come in.

With our passion and unprecedented experience in the field of data-driven marketing, we saw a great opportunity and founded marqeu to drive this revolution and today, we are excited to officially introduce marqeu to the world.
